Such incredibly delicious and authentic dishes. This is one of the best Syrian/Lebanese restaurants I have found outside of the Middle east, and that comes from someone living in Paris where there are so many. Everything was incredible, so during our stay we went 3 times

i regularly enjoy lebanese food in my own country, so i was pleasantly surprised to see there were many new options on the menu in romania. i was brought over complimentary bread and pickled vegetables to start, which was very kind. i had the spicy beef and the portion was huge! i absolutely loved the flavours in the dish and the rice with nuts had the most beautiful crunch and seasoning. i had a cherry lemonade which was delicious and sour, it was so big i couldn’t even finish. when i was done, they even let me pick a free dessert. the staff spoke excellent english, i was moved by their generosity. it was a cosy place open late, and the decor was lovely. if im ever in bucharest again, i would love to return. it was nice as a foreigner in another country to experience the lebanese hospitality im familiar with.

We had such a great time at Maher and the food is really good. The grilled mutton chop was very tender and tasty and the portions were very nice in size and it comes with potatoes and coleslaw, both of them very tasty and not full of oil and grease. The mix platter of hummus, aubergine salad and mutabal are very tasty and fresh. Do not forget to also try the mint lemonade as you could really feel the mint in that one. We will definitely be back to try other delicious foods :).
